Very easy to make pulav, this is a road side cuisine of Maharashtra, India.

- 2 cup Basmati Rice / பாசுமதி அரிசி - cooked
- 2 nos Tomato / தக்காளி - diced
- 2 nos Onion / வெங்காயம் - cut long
- 1 nos Capsicum / குடை மிளகாய் - diced
- 2 tbsp Green Peas, Fresh / பச்சைப் பட்டாணி
- 5 pod Garlic / பூண்டு - chopped
- 1 inch Ginger / இஞ்சி - chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
- 2 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala powder
- 1 tsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
- 10 gm Butter / வெண்ணெய்
- 2 tsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 2 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste
- 1 nos Lemon / எலுமிச்சம் பழம்
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி
Heat oil and butter in a pan
Splutter cumin seeds
Add chopped ginger and garlic and saute well
Add onion (reserve few rings) and saute well until the raw smell goes
Add chopped carrot, capsicum, green peas, and little water and cook well
Add red chili powder, pav bhaji masala, salt and cook well
Add cooked basmati rice (leave 2~3tbsp of it) and mix well
Switch off flame
Squeeze lemon over the pulav and mix well
Garnish with chopped coriander
Serve hot with additional garnishing with the little plain rice and few onion rings
