Soak rice and urad dhal for 2hours
Grind it into a smooth paste
Add food color, baking powder and mix well, keep aside
Boil water in a pan
Add sugar, cardamom powder into it
Boil them until you get the sugar syrup into one thread consistency
Switch off and keep aside
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying
Deep fry the batter by dropping small droplets into oil
When fried drain them into kitchen towel so that excess oil is absorbed
Soak them in the sugar syrup, the fried balls should drain up all the sugar syrup
