Ingredients

Instructions
Wash and soak rice for about 1hr
Drain water and spread rice on a cloth to dry for about 10min
Grind dried rice along with cardamom
Sieve the flour to get smooth rice flour
Grind the coarse rice again and repeat the process until whole rice is well ground
Heat a pan in medium-low flame
Add the rice flour and fry till the flour loses its stickiness
Dissolve and filter jaggery to remove any impurities
Boil the dissolved jaggery in a pan
Add roasted rice flour and stir well, so that no lumps are formed
Add coconut and mix well
Divide the above prepared dough into equal balls
Spread each ball over a greased plastic cover or banana leaf like Boli
Heat a pan in low flame
Cook both sides of the adai, add ghee and allow it to roast

Note:
* If you are very particular on shape, you could cut the adai with a circular lid or something
