Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Rice flour / அசிரி மாவு
  • 2 tsp Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு
  • 2 tsp Cumin seed / சீரகம்
  • 2 tsp Sesame seed, White / எள்ளு, வெள்ளை
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper powder / மிளகுத்தூள்
  • 4 tbsp Coconut, Fresh / தேங்காய் - finely grated
  • ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust to your taste

Instructions
 

  • Dry roast rice flour a little, keep aside
  • Dry roast urad dhal until golden brown and grind into a fine powder
  • Mix rice flour, urad dhal powder, white sesame, cumin, black pepper powder, asafoetida and mix well
  • Dilute salt in water and mix along with above mix little by little
  • The mix should be in such a consistency that it should not have lumps, should form a shape when held at the same time when pressed harder it should crumble
  • Make 1cm balls with above
  • Fry them in oil in medium flame until golden brown
  • Drain oil and store in an airtight container

Notes

Serve along with coffee or tea
