Instructions
Grind Masala
Grind coconut, ginger, cumin, green chili, turmeric powder along with curd into a fine paste
Main
Close cook plantain tree stem with little water, salt until they are soft
Add the ground paste to cooked plantain tree stem, mix well
Bring to a boil
Tempering
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Add mustard, allow it to splutter
Add dry red chili, fry a little
Add curry leaves, asafoetida, fry a bit
Add into koottu, mix well
Notes
Serve hot with rice
