Soak white channa in adequate water for about 4~5 hours
Add a pinch of salt and pressure cook for 1 whistle
Drain excess water, keep aside
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard and allow it to splutter
Add urad dhal and fry until golden brown
Add curry leaves, red chili and fry a little
Add the cooked channa, mix well
Add turmeric powder, amchur, red chili powder, asafoetida, coconut and mix well
Serve hot
