Yaki imo
Yaki Imo (焼芋) is traditionally baked over pebbles in Japanese way, it is called (石焼芋). Sweet potato baked over pebbles tastes very well however I do not have the oven pot that I can use pebbles hence baked in electric oven
Ingredients
- 4 nos Sweet Potato / சக்கரவள்ளிக் கிழங்கு - washed n pat dried
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust according to your taste
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 180°C
- Bake sweet potato for about 60min
- Poke it with a pin to check the softness - when the pin goes in smoothly then sweet potato is baked well
- Sprinkle salt over it
