Yaki Imo (焼芋) is traditionally baked over pebbles in Japanese way, it is called (石焼芋). Sweet potato baked over pebbles tastes very well however I do not have the oven pot that I can use pebbles hence baked in electric oven

Ingredients
  

  • 4 nos Sweet Potato / சக்கரவள்ளிக் கிழங்கு - washed n pat dried
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - adjust according to your taste

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 180°C
  • Bake sweet potato for about 60min
  • Poke it with a pin to check the softness - when the pin goes in smoothly then sweet potato is baked well
  • Sprinkle salt over it

Serve hot
