Paruppu Thuvaiyal
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Thoor dhal / துவரம் பருப்பு
- 1 cup Coconut, Fresh / தேங்காய் - grated
- 4 nos Red Chili, Dry / வற மிளகாய் - (adjust to your spice level)
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper / மிளகு
- ½ tsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
- 2 pinch Asafoetida / பெருங்காயம்
- ½ tsp Salt / உப்பு - (adjust to your taste)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan
- Dry roast red chili, thoor dhal, black pepper until thoor dhal turns golden brown
- Add asafoetida, keep aside, allow it to cool
- Grind above along with coconut into a fine paste
- Add salt, mix well
Notes
Serve along with hot rice and Milagu Kuzhambu
