Idli Batter
Ingredients
- 4 cup Rice, raw / பச்சரிசி
- 1 cup Urad Dhal / உளுத்தம் பருப்பு - whole
- 1 tbsp Tapioca
- 2 tsp Fenugreek seed / வெந்தயம்
- 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு
Instructions
- Soak rice, tapioca, fenugreek, urad dhal in enough water over night in separate bowls
- Drain water and grind urad dhal until super smooth
- Drain water and grind rice, tapioca,fenugreek until smooth
- Mix urad dhal batter, rice batter well along with salt
- Ferment it for 8~10hrs
