Ingredients
  

  • 400 gm Baby Onion - peeled
  • ¾ cup Peanut / வேர்க் கடலை - roasted
  • 10 pod Garlic / பூண்டு
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder / மல்லித் தூள்
  • 2 tbsp Red Chili powder / மிளகாய்த் தூள்
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder / சீரகத் தூள்
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder / மஞ்சள் தூள்
  • 4 tbsp Coriander leaves, Fresh / கொத்தமல்லி - chopped
  • 4 tbsp Oil / எண்ணெய்
  • 1 tsp Salt / உப்பு - (adjust to your taste)

Instructions
 

  • Slit into 4 parts keeping base intact
  • Coarsely grind roasted peanuts, garlic, coriander powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt
  • Add chopped coriander, mix with oil until a crumbly texture
  • Carefully fill the above mixture into each baby onion
  • Heat remaining oil in a non-stick pan
  • Place the stuffed onions on the surface of the pan, let it cook on low heat for 5~10min
  • Add about a ¼cup of water, add the remaining stuffing mix
  • Close cook for about 10min
  • Sauté occasionally if required in between

Notes

Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot
