Pineapple Kesari
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat Rava
- 1 cup Ghee / நெய்
- ¾ cup Sugar, White / சர்க்கரை, வெள்ளை
- ½ nos Pineapple fruit / அன்னாசிப் பழம் - ground into paste
- 10 nos Cashew nut / முந்திரிப் பருப்பு
- 2 tbsp Raisin
- 2½ cup Water / தண்ணீர்
- 5 – 10 strands Saffron / குங்குமப் பூ
Instructions
- Fry cashew and raisin separately with a little amount of ghee and keep aside
- Boil water in a kettle
- Add the remaining ghee and fry sooji
- Once water started boiling, pour it little by little and stir sooji such that it does not form lumps
- Stir well for 2-3min
- Once sooji cooked well add sugar and again stir thoroughly
- Add pineapple paste to Kesari and mix thoroughly
- Finally, add fried cashew and raisin
- Garnish with saffron
- Pour hot ghee (100ml) before and serve hot
