Grind gooseberry, green chili, ginger, asafetida into fine paste
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard and allow it to splutter
Add chana dhal, peanuts and fry well
Add turmeric powder, curry leaves and fry a little
Add ground paste and sauté well
Add cooked rice, salt and mix thoroughly
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve with any moor kootu
